SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by an individual/father who informed him that his baby daughter’s arm was recently amputated during the time her baby daughter was receiving treatment at a hospital. The father had requested for advice and assistance as he was disappointed and not satisfied with the explanation given by the hospital staff concerned.
SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap empathize with the individual father on his concerns and predicament and have on his behalf contacted the hospital concerned. As instructed by the hospital, SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap have formally written to the hospital to request for the detailed medical report of the father’s baby daughter in respect of the diagnosis of her medical condition and the treatment given.
SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to follow up with the hospital authorities and monitor the situation closely until the predicament facing the father is settled.
