SUPP PUBLIC COMPLAINTS BUREAU PRESS RELEASE

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB),  Wilfred Yap was recently  approached by residents staying at 7th Mile, Greenville Park during his regular “turun padang” activity to the area.

The residents had complained to  him of the traffic congestion of the traffic during peak hours at the T junction of Lorong 1,  Greenville Road as Greenville Road is used by the public as a by-pass to Jalan Batu Kitang to avoid the traffic congestion at the construction site of a flyover at 7th Mile, Kuching Serian Road. The residents had requested for a yellow box to prevent a gridlock and ease traffic flow during peak hours. The matter was brought to the attention of the Engineering Department of  Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) and the yellow box have been painted.

The residents also complained of uncleared construction rubbish and overgrown weeds in the drains and road verges at Greenville Commercial Centre. Following the complaint, the matter was immediately brought up to the attention of  MPP and steps are currently being taken to clear the construction waste and overgrown weeds. SUPP PCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to follow up and monitor the situation closely until remedial action is completed to the satisfaction and benefit of all affected parties.

As Malaysia National Day which falls on the 31st August  approaches,  SUPP PCB Chief & Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap hopes that Sarawakians understand that it is  very crucial and important for us to be united under a common objective for the restoration of Sarawak’s rights and interest under Malaysia Agreement 1963 and  not to be influenced by Malaya based  Pakatan Harapan which have a tendency to make empty promises and U turns.

As loyal Sarawakians, we should fight for Sarawak rights and continue the effort of Tok Nan (the late Tan Sri Adenan Satem), who got the ball rolling to set the Sarawak Agenda for autonomy in motion. Under the able leadership of Sarawak Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Zohari, we must speak with one United Sarawak voice and to go all out to fight for the return of our rights and entitlements that have been eroded over the years especially during the 22 years when Tun Dr Mahathir was Prime Minister for the sake of our  future generations.
