Secretary general of SUPP, Dato’ Sebastian Ting said the Chief Minister has come up with a number of feel-good policies for the people of Sarawak and it is on us to ensure that the policies are carried out.
Ting said the most recent one was the lowering of tariff for the people as the Chief Minister was concerned for the people due to the increase in prices of food and other items.
He said while in BIntulu, the Chief Minister had emphasised that there will be a RM2.1 billion business opportunity for the people there in the oil and gas industry. “This was made possible due to his negotiation with Petronas. The CM has said all the changes are only possible if the people are with him,” said Ting.
Urging the people to stand solidly behind the Chief Minister, Ting said with so many changes made for the better, even in Chinese education, where the State government had donated RM3 million, he felt it is time for us to go ahead through a journey of making Sarawak a better place for the future generation. He pointed out that the Chief Minister has said he will not be able to get things done alone and the people will have to stand with him.
SUPP, he said will definitely be with the Chief MInister as SUPP wants Sarawak to progress for the good of all.
