DIRTY PUBLIC TOILETS

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by members of the public and hawkers trading in 3rd Mile Sungai Maong Bazaar Hawker Centre, who complained on the state of the public toilets in the hawker centre.

Following the complaints received, Wilfred Yap who is also Majlis Perbandaran Padawan (MPP) Councillor, together with an officer from MPP, immediately went to inspect and assess the situation and also to see what can be done to resolve the problem. The MPP officer was requested by Wilfred Yap to list out the necessary repairs and to have the problems resolved as soon as possible as public toilets should never be left in a bad condition.

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap will highlight this issue during the next full council meeting and also for council staff to increase the frequency of inspection of public toilets to ensure these public amenities are in good condition and maintained properly for the benefit of the public.
