But little do they know, if these money games which promise the highest returns within shortest period of time are even managed by legitimate or licensed companies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPCB has lately received many complains from \u2018investors\u2019 who fell victims to such money games, and is currently doing its best to help these people,\u201d said PCB chief Wilfred Yap.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf a certain investment scheme sounds too good to be true, then, it is advised that the general public run a background check on the said company before they even decide to fork out their hard-earned savings and risk losing them all to the so called investment schemes, which later turn out to be nothing but a gorgeously packaged scam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe general public must know how to protect their own rights and interests as consumers, please spend some time to research on the company\u2019s background, make good use of IT technologies and be resourceful.
