SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap is frequently\u00a0 approached by the residents staying in the vicinity of 7th Mile and business community of Kota Sentosa commercial area during his regular \u201cturun padang\u201d activity to the area.<\/p>\n

During one of the visits recently, the residents and business community had complained to him of the traffic congestion of the traffic during peak hours at the T junction of Lorong 3,\u00a0 Jalan Stakan as it is used by the public as a by-pass to avoid the traffic congestion at Kota Sentosa commercial area during peak hours.\u00a0 The matter was\u00a0 brought up to the attention of\u00a0 Padawan Municipal Council (MPP) Engineering Department and the government funding for the upgrading of the T junction have been approved.<\/p>\n

However there are eight squatter houses on both sides of the T junction entrance at Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan.\u00a0 Before the open tender can be called by MPP, SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap together with SUPP members for 7th Mile Sub Branch and an officer from MPP gone to assess the situation of the eight squatter houses to ensure that there would not be any problems and minimal disruption to the upgrading works of widening the T junction at Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan.<\/p>\n

SPCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to follow up and monitor the situation closely until the upgrading works of the T junction at Lorong 3, Jalan Stakan is properly completed to the satisfaction and benefit of all affected parties.<\/p>\n

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap and SUPP members of 7th Mile Sub Branch shall also continue to serve as the eyes and ears of the community living there to ensure that the infrastructure facilities in the Kota Sentosa area are maintained properly for the benefit of the community living there. Wilfred Yap will also continue to highlight and try to resolve issues of public interest affecting the public.<\/p>\n
