SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap together with SUPP members recently went back to monitor the progress of the construction, improvement and upgrading works of drains at Taman Mei Lee, Lorong 6B, Jalan Stakan Sentosa.
The spoke persons of residents of that area, namely Madan Thung and Mr Yeo had earlier in 2016 complained on the bad conditions of the drains at Taman Mei Lee, Lorong 6B, Jalan Stakan Sentosa which was causing flash flooding during heavy rain. Following their complaint made in 2016, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau had conveyed their request and highlighted their complaint to the relevant authorities.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau would like to the thank all the relevant authorities for their hard effort in solving progressively and systematically the drainage problems faced by residents and hopes that the public will be more understanding towards the relevant authorities as infrastructure problems faced by them cannot be solved overnight or immediately but that it must go through a process of applying and securing funding or budget for the works from the Government before implementation of the contract works can begin.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is always ready to lend a helping hand to the anyone facing problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it. Anyone requiring assistance can always call SUPP Public Complaint’s mobile number at 016-7797688 or 082-246999 or go direct to SUPP Head Office to request for assistance.
