SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by a relative of a poor family of four staying at Stampin Resettlement Scheme requesting him and SUPP members to pay a visit to them. The relative had requested for advice and assistance to apply for welfare assistance from the Government.

Following the request, Wilfred Yap and SUPP members immediately went to inspect and assess the situation. After the visit, inquiries were made with the Welfare Department and SUPP Public Complaints Bureau have now successfully assisted the poor family to obtain monthly financial assistance from the Government.

On another matter, SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was also approached by residents living at RPR Stampin Resettlement Scheme who complained on potholes and slanting electricity poles which poses a danger to the public if it were to fall during strong winds or a heavy rainfall.

The matter have since been highlighted and brought up to the attention of Majlis Perbandaran Kuching Selatan (MBKS) for their prompt action in repairing the potholes and to SESCO for their prompt action to straighten the slanting electric poles.
