SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SPCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap and Kapitan Cheong Ek Boh was recently approached by residents staying at Hui Sing Garden, Kuching who requested for his assistance to request the relevant parties to repair a collapsed drain at Hui Sing Roundabout.
Following the request for assistance received, Wilfred Yap together with Kapitan Cheong Ek Boh went to inspect and assess the situation and also to see what can be done to quickly resolve their problem. The matter was immediately highlighted and brought up to the attention of the relevant authorities and the collapsed drain at Hui Sing Roundabout is now in the midst of being repaired by a contractor appointed by JKR.
On another related matter, the residents at Hui Sing Residential area were also concerned that a lot of drains needed repairs and upgrading and requested that requests be made on their behalf to the relevant authorities to repair the affected part of dilapidated drains.
Again efforts are being made by SUPP Public Complaints Bureau to bring the matter of drains that required repairs to the attention of the relevant authorities and hopes that the request by the residents will be solved gradually and systematically by the relevant authorities.
