SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by residents staying in Lorong 2 of Stampin Resettlement Scheme, Jalan Stampin Baru who complains of frequent accidents at the entrance of Lorong 2. According to the residents concerned, thiscould be due to the narrow access/entrance and the fast traffic travelling along Jalan Stampin Baru.
Following the requests for assistance received, SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap together with other SUPP members had gone to inspect and assess the situation to see what can be done to resolve the problem raised by the affected residents.
SUPP PCB have now written to Kuching South City Council and Public Works Department for the widening of the entrance at Lorong 2 and for a yellow box to be painted as the yellow box would be able to warn the public to be more careful and slow down when approaching Lorong 2, Jalan Stampin Baru.
SUPP PCB hopes that Kuching City South City Council and Public Works Department will look into this matter on an urgent basis due to the inconvenience currently faced by residents of Lorong 2, Stampin Resettlement Scheme.
On another matter, SUPP PCB would like to thank Kuching Water Board for their speedy action (upon receiving notification of the leaking pipes from SUPP PCB) in repairing the leaking water pipes at various areas within Stampin Resettlement Scheme which was causing low water pressure.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is always ready to lend a helping hand to the anyone facing problems or who come across problems of public interest but does not know how to deal with it. Anyone requiring assistance can always call SUPP Public Complaint Bureau’s mobile number at 016-7797688 or 082-246999 or go direct to SUPP Head Office to request for assistance.
