SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief, Wilfred Yap was recently approached for assistance by the an individual surnamed Lam residing at Lorong 23, Jalan Stampin area. Mr Lam had informed Wilfred Yap that his house was recently broken into by thieves through the window in the kitchen of his house and various items were stolen and that he had earlier already lodged a police report.
Mr Lam had requested for SUPP Public Complaint Bureau’s assistance as he had found a receipt issued by local Recyling Company dealing with scrapped and recycled metal material in his house. The receipt had the name of an individual who had sold some scrapped aluminum to the said recycling company which Mr Lam believe could have been stolen from his house.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap accompanied Mr Lam to the Police Station at Simpang Tiga and requested for their thorough investigation on the matter complained in light of the receipt discovered by Mr Lam in his house.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap would like to thank the police officers on duty at Kuching District Police “One Stop Centre” at Simpang Tiga for their professionalism and also hopes that the police will look into increasing the frequency of police patrols in the Jalan Stampin areas to prevent crime.
