SUPP PUBLIC COMPLAINTS BUREAU PRESS RELEASE

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) Chief, Wilfred Yap is frequently approached by the residents staying in Stampin Resettlement Scheme during his regular “turun padang” activity to the area.

Recently, the residents complained to him of uncleared rubbish and overgrown weeds in the drains and road verges. Following the complain, Wilfred Yap had gone to inspect the situation and the matter was brought up to the attention of Kuching City South Council. SPCB Chief, Wilfred Yap will continue to follow up and monitor the situation closely until remedial action is completed to the satisfaction of all parties.

The residents at Stampin Resettlement Scheme also frequently complain to him of the heavy traffic and the poor condition of the earth drains along the main road of Stampin Resettlement Scheme. The residents had requested for the widening of main road and the earth drains to be upgraded to concrete drains.

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap hopes that the current Stampin Member of Parliament, Kota Sentosa State Assemblyman and Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, YB Chong Chieng Jen will assist the residents and business community of Stampin Resettlement Scheme by highlighting their problem during cabinet meetings and to apply and secure development funds from the Federal Government to upgrade the drainage system and widen the main road to improve traffic flow caused by its  increasing usage.

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap and SUPP members of BDC Sub Branch shall also continue to serve as the eyes and ears of the community living in Stampin Resettlement Scheme to ensure that issues affecting the local community there are attended to. Wilfred Yap will also continue to highlight and try to resolve issues of public interest affecting them.
