SUPP Public Complaints Bureau (SUPP PCB) & Kota Sentosa Branch Chairman, Wilfred Yap was recently approached by residents staying at Stampin Resettlement Scheme during his regular “turun padang” activity to the area with SUPP Stampin Sub Branch members.
During the “turun padang” activity to Stampin Resettlement Scheme, the residents again complained to SUPP PCB Chief Wilfred Yap of the heavy traffic and the poor condition of the earth drains along the main road of Stampin Resettlement Scheme. To alleviate the problem, the residents again requested for the widening of main road and the earth drains to be upgraded to concrete drains.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau Chief Wilfred Yap appeals to the current Stampin Member of Parliament, Kota Sentosa State Assemblyman and Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, YB Chong Chieng Jen to assist the residents of Stampin Resettlement Scheme by bringing their long outstanding problem to the relevant Federal Government Ministry or Departments and to apply and secure development funds from the Federal Government to upgrade the drainage system to prevent flooding and widen the main road to improve traffic flow caused by its increasing usage by the growing number of households in the area.
SUPP Public Complaints Bureau and SUPP Stampin Sub-Branch members shall also continue to highlight the poor condition of the drains, roads and other infrastructure facilities in Stampin Resettlement Scheme to the relevant parties for the benefit of the community living there.
