SUPP PUBLIC COMPLAINT BUREAU PRESS RELEASE 31 JAN 2015

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau was recently approached by a group of people who were facing problems of various kinds. When approached, SUPP Public Complaint Bureau fixed an appointment date for its Chief, Wilfred Yap to meet up and listen to their problems and to assess how best to help them.

From the interviews carried out by Wilfred Yap, it was discovered that the majority of their problems arose due to their misunderstanding of the requirements of the various government departments concerned and their failure to furnish all the relevant documents required to the authorities concerned. In view of the incomplete documentation, it invariably resulted in the delay of their application and hence the problems they face.

During the session, Wilfred Yap explained to them in detail the need for them to fulfill all the requirements laid down by the government departments concerned that they were dealing with.

Wilfred Yap advised them to comply with the requirements laid down as SUPP Public Complaints Bureau is not the approving authority and  can only assist on complaints on late or lack of response or inaction, unfair practices, mediocre and service failure of government departments.

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau cannot bend the law and is not in a position to assist in situations where the complainant have failed to comply with the requirements laid down by the government department or authority concerned.

SUPP Public Complaints Bureau would like to notify the public that to prevent delays in the processing and approval of their application from various government departments, they should first make sure that they furnish all the relevant information and documents.
